Maybe next time the ****ing MLB will play this like the soccer leagues do with the World Cup. Zero aces for the team and teams keeping players out. Unbelievable how poorly the MLB has come out looking with this, which has had monster ratings in many countries.

If you said take the pitcher you were correct.

WBC 2023 was super fun. Wish USA could have pulled it out but it's hard not to be happy for Japan. Maybe USA will actually have some pitching next time.

The US losing may have been a good thing for the long term. Maybe next time we'll have more than just hitters.

MLB needs to replace the All Star game with the WBC in mid-July. If soccer can do it so can beisbol.

Great friggin idea but I can't imagine owners signing up for injuries on the way to a playoff run.

This is really the best time if you run into injuries. After the World Series just seems anticlimactic and weird

From a hitting standpoint it was great, we had zero of our top 10 aces while every other country had like 5. Ridiculous on the part of the pitchers.

Why? They do this in soccer. International play >>> MLB. That excuse doesn't fly when soccer leagues flat out interrupt their own seasons for the World Cup.

The WBC is put on by the MLB though, and they've explicitly stated they don't want it to overtake the traditional season or WS. I could see moving it earlier but I don't see it moving the other way.
