All of the brick red jerseys are trash.

The star doesn't match the cursive font. The cursive font and scheme has nothing to do with the Astros space theme. And worst of all the color red is so incredibly random.

I'm not sure WTF the point was with these uniforms but they're so incredibly bad no media material the Astros put out should show these uniforms. Any images or references to these unis should be removed from MMP. They should be removed from any team store and discontinued immediately. Anyone entering into MMP with merch from this scheme should be denied entry until they hand over the merch so it can be incinerated.

Just erase this entire uniform scheme from the history of this franchise.

If they're gonna put Bregman in a "brick era" jersey, I wish they would have used the black jersey. In my opinion it's the only jersey from that color set that actually looked pretty sharp. The all gray, no pinstripes might be my least favorite Astros uniform ever.

The rockets late 90s and early 2000s jerseys make the red brick and pinstripes look classic

When I look back fondly at the 2022 ALCS, my favorite thing to remember is that Martin Maldonado's batting average was 223 points higher than Aaron Judge's over the four games.

Cashman knows that he's stuck with the Judge-Cole-Stanton trio for several more years.

It may seem like ZiPS gives the Astros the same projection every year, but a big part of that is that the computer sees some combination of the Mariners, Angels, and Rangers inching closer each year.

Oh gosh! If any of you haven't watched this do it now or you're cheating yourself. It's not on Netflix now but I found it on Prime for free. I found it impossible to listen to Joe Morgan and Hank Aaron talking and laughing and not be laughing with them.

So many treasures. The story behind Bob Gibson's Clint Eastman squint. The heartbreak of the Steve Dalkowski story. Verlander talking about the myth of the rising fastball.

The one thing that bugged me is at the first of the show they showed how Walter Johnson's fastball was measured at 83 mph but didn't point out the obvious flaw in the method they used which would have resulted in a false low bias. But then at the end they had maybe the best part where the physicist explained that and made adjustments to get the old readings comparable to today's. Although in the Big Train's case he didn't acknowledge that to start the timer the ball had to break thin wires which definitely impacted the ball's velocity.

And they showed Billy Wagner throwing a pretty good visball himself. Really entertaining.
