If they're gonna put Bregman in a "brick era" jersey, I wish they would have used the black jersey. In my opinion it's the only jersey from that color set that actually looked pretty sharp. The all gray, no pinstripes might be my least favorite Astros uniform ever.
This is my least favorite

Yeah. All part of the train station/junction jack/train motif. I mean the train is neat and all, but imagine if we had kept the space theme instead. And we got Elon Musk involved. We could launch a Falcon Heavy or better yet a Starship when Yordan hits a WS game 6 bomb.spadilly said:
didn't they also try to pass off the brick red as a nod to the original color of Union Station or something like that?

It may seem like ZiPS gives the Astros the same projection every year, but a big part of that is that the computer sees some combination of the Mariners, Angels, and Rangers inching closer each year.Farmer1906 said:

Oh gosh! If any of you haven't watched this do it now or you're cheating yourself. It's not on Netflix now but I found it on Prime for free. I found it impossible to listen to Joe Morgan and Hank Aaron talking and laughing and not be laughing with them.Ag_07 said:
This was covered in the Netflix doc Fastball which is a great watch for any one who hasn't watched.
But because the ball stays on plane and doesn't succumb to gravity and drop it gives the illusion of rising.
THey have us with the best record in the AL>Farmer1906 said:

World Series MVP and Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña has committed to play for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic, a league source tells me.

Though widely expected, Peña was recently invited by DR, and accepted. He’s been cleared by the Astros to play, I’m told. pic.twitter.com/N18Yn4ICkf
