What's crazy is 40% of this video is just his playoff highlights and it wasn't like they only showed his homers in the regular season, they showed plenty of other hits and great plays in the field.EastCoastAgNc said:
If we kick ass the next three years the windfall profits might just convince Crane to open his pocketbooks a little futher.W said:

If either stay I lean Tucker. I think Crane would be more willing to pay the younger guy all those years vs Breggy who is hitting FA late in his career due to the early extension.
I know Carlos was just trying to get paid and play in NYC, but I'm not surprised by Cohen's tactics. Hedge fund manager slime ball.Beat40 said:
I think the more likely scenario is the Mets being underhanded, which has been the read I've gotten on the whole situation. Cohen knew he could take all the leverage away from Carlos by quickly agreeing with Carlos to whatever Carlos wanted and then using the medicals as an excuse to set the narrative that Carlos had a bum ankle. Cohen wanted Carlos on the cheap. He knew setting the narrative around long term health concerns by confirming what the Giants had already said screwed Carlos as no team would then be willing to pay for a long $300M plus deal after that.
Such ****s, the lot of them. Did they also say "nobody comes into the bank and wins. They have no idea what it's like to play in the bank!!!"Farmer1906 said:
I know I'm crazy but I just watched 20 min of Philly postgame from game 3 of the WS. They ripped us. The KNEW a title was coming to Philly. Called us the Buffalo Bills. Hyped their fans over and over. I might have find game 4-5-6 now.
Go to 14:08 and the dude with the gf and the fake cans and how dejected he looked after the ball left the bat. I remember later that game they were no longer there (I was seeking them out for "research"...and by "them" I mean the cans).Prosperdick said:What's crazy is 40% of this video is just his playoff highlights and it wasn't like they only showed his homers in the regular season, they showed plenty of other hits and great plays in the field.EastCoastAgNc said:

Why do you think it's collusion?EastCoastAgNc said:Hold up…the Mets used the same doctor as the Giants after the Giants didn’t pass Correa?

That’s almost conspiracy theory level buffoonery. pic.twitter.com/OnQGS6Zylg
Holy collusion Batman

Maybe they are trying to get him at his projected value to make the extension look that much more appealing. Unfortunately he is worth more than the Crane is willing to pay and Crane may have folded his hand and decided to keep Tucker as cheap as he can to have more cash to extend some pitchers.YellAg2004 said:
That doesn't exactly instill confidence that an extension will be reached if they are that far apart with debating over the MLB equivalent of chicken feed.
Eso si, Que es said:
Crane has gotten what he has wanted most of his life and to get stiffed by a player may be a thought pill to swallow.

Hey Marvin, not sure if you saw my follow up post the other day, but if you do have a medium, orange Springer jersey you're willing to sell I would be very interested in buying it.
