I'm sure this chode mostly copied the Vegas odds, which are less of a prediction and more of an enticement to get people to bet.Big Al 1992 said:astros4545 said:Projected 2023 wins via ESPN’s Bradford Doolittle:

I'll be in Vegas 2nd week of Jan. If that's their O/U on wins too and not just some Twitter hack - I'll put bets down on behalf of TexAgs Astro posters. We can all count down wins together.
those are not actual betting numbers. its a writer's prediction on wins.Big Al 1992 said:astros4545 said:Projected 2023 wins via ESPN’s Bradford Doolittle:

fangraphs always low on their numbers for what the top teams win. they had us at 90 last year also. they typically put even the best teams at less than 95 wins.Quote:
Also fangraphs had us at 90 in November.
If we can mostly avoid the injury bug in 2023 like this past season we should win more than 90 games. Besides a more competitive AL West is a good thing for this team despite playing divisional opponents less often moving forward.wangus12 said:
My assumption is that they feel since Seattle has been competitive and the Rangers have made a bunch of offseason moves + the annual Angels have Trout/Ohtani and thus will figure it out this year = Astros win total being reduced.
Caesars had us at 92.5 last season too.BMX Bandit said:those are not actual betting numbers. its a writer's prediction on wins.Big Al 1992 said:astros4545 said:Projected 2023 wins via ESPN’s Bradford Doolittle:

for poster that said his brother saw numbers are caesars, what are the other teams numbers? he needs to bet as much as they will allow if that 92 is an actual number
The Dodgers championship in the 2020 Covid season is less legitimate than the Astros 2017 championship. https://t.co/qyks3OvpAZ

That was the only part of the post-season where I couldn't quite fully look at the screen. Was pacing in the kitchen and watching about 35% of the TV.EastCoastAgNc said:"The catch of his life for McCormick!"

They sure are concerned about how bad we were on their thread. Maybe they should worry more about how much they spend to still be mediocre
All those dumb contracts can't buy their fans some self-awareness apparently.
If you squint enough you can see Aaron Judge choking from there.tjack16 said:
