I love playing the lineup game. This is how I'd do it:

Altuve
Peña
Yordan
Bregman
Tucker
Abreu
Brantley
McCormick
Maldonado

Peña thrived in the two hole and deserves to keep that spot.

Other than it being Altuve's "spot" I really wouldn't mind Bregman batting leadoff with his lethal hitting eye.

I don't think Abreu should bat ahead of Tucker unless he starts hitting a lot of HR again.

In the 6th hole there will be plenty of traffic on the bases where singles and doubles will bring them home.

If Pena gets his obp up I'm not against him in the 2-hole. But I'd like to keep all of the high obp guys all together. Need to always have as many guys we can on base for Yordan/Abreu.

It's hard for me to see Dusty changing the line up too much…Dusty likes to stick with things.

We know three things: Dusty loves Peña in the two hole, he loves Tucker batting down in the line up ("he's our 3R HR guy"), and he loves RLRLRL. Those lineups have been listed a ton here already. I'd love to see this:

Awesome news and it sounds like his rehab is going well. Would have hated to potentially face him in the postseason; plus the Astros had to do something to counter the Yankees now having the "best rotation in baseball". (lol)

My favorite part is the 6th hole lineup argument is for game 1 only. From there on out somebody will always have a day off.

Realistically we need a utility INF. Someone to play 2B/SS/3B. Not Dubon. I don't want Dubon getting that many ABs. Elvis Andrus maybe would be a good addition.

He might get a starting job on a team that missed out on the big 4 SS. I don't think he'd be interested in a limited role here.

Or give the job to Hensley. Which by the way I am not opposed to. They just have to be prepared to get someone in June if he bombs.

You've got a lot of free cheap options, all you need is one of them to
Save the 24M for the trade deadline when we have an idea of our needs at that point

Very small big league sample size, but I thought Hensley put together some really professional at bats, including the one we all remember vs the M's. He'd be my choice

Interesting flip. Not only did JD end up with LAD, Justin Turner ended up with Boston. JD went for $10MM and Turner for $11MM
