They replaced Buehler with Thor. That's a downgrade. And they moved Turner so SS is a big question. I foresee them overpaying for Swanson.

I think they'll end up buying these guys out at the end of their deal like what happened with Cano.
If Correa said I'll sign for 350 M, you can give it to me in 1 year or 15 years. The longer the deal goes, the lower the AAV is which is what is used for calculating payroll.
While we've seen some crazy contracts, how many guys are getting them? The top 2-3%. Most won't ever get anything close to a mega deal.

My WS commemorative issue came today. Sadly it's making me realize some of the details in the glorious post season are already fading. Between the epic games one and three of the ALDS I had already forgotten that Yordan hit the game winning HR in game two.
It has an all time Astros team section in the back. It has the all time outfielders as Wynn, Cedeno and Cruz. Poor Berkman can't even get any respect from the Astros but not sure which of those guys he would have replaced. Wynn maybe.

The Astros should be in a position to sweeten the pot somewhat as well, with as ****ty as their PR has been over the past few years. Can't let Blummer and TK get away.
Losing TK and Blummer would sting so much more than losing Verlander.
Dodgers are not going crazy with the spending this offseason because they are waiting for big fish Ohtani. He will be a Dodger eventually, maybe before the trade deadline in 2023.

Don't get me wrong, she's an all-time smoke show and every dude on here would huff her farts and ask for more, but can you imagine how much of a beat-down it would be to deal with a woman who's never really worked a real job or had to work hard but became a billionaire simply because she won the genetic lottery and is preposterously beautiful? The ego and entitlement would be nuclear weapons-grade.
Meanwhile, Brady has worked his ass off for over 20 years to go from a complete afterthought to arguably the greatest QB to ever play the game and is legendary for being so competitive that he's probably the dad who just wrecks his kids in every type of game they play. Brady probably gets pissed if he loses at CandyLand.

What is she up to these days? Haven't seen her in a movie or anything in a long time. She was one been on of the top smoke-shows on the planet in the early-2000's.
