I mean.... everything I can say has already been said in this thread. I don't know how you can compare Bregman and Gilbert. Gilbert has had 32 ABs in the lowest levels of professional baseball. Bregman played 2.5 years in the farm system and his movement through the system was considered quick.

I think there was something else going on with Boomer but maybe I never heard the full story. Also I don't think we're a bloated organization like I suspect the NY/LA clubs are so I'd love to know what our profit margins have been the last 6 years (minus the Covid season). Perhaps Crane has stockpiled some funds for us to make hay while this window is open.
