I wouldn't hate having Judge in Houston. It will never happen, though. What will he get as far as a contract goes? It would blow our "structure" with the home grown talent out of the water.

I don't like the idea of sacrificing pitching for a bat like Judge. What did he do in the playoffs?

Astros won the WS because they brought in one shutdown stud after the other in the playoffs. You can upgrade over Diaz and Yuli with much cheaper options and keep your rotation and pen juiced.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think anyone is actually suggesting Judge. It's just trolling at this point because everyone know the Astros aren't going to sign a dude to an 8-9 year contract

Part of Judge's problem in the playoffs is he had no real protection in the Yankees lineup and he's swinging for the fences. Imagine him hitting cleanup. Sandwiched between Yordan and Tucker.

That would be erotic. It won't happens but the rest of the league should be worried it might.

Other than signing a Jose Abreu to a 2-$36M deal or similar, maybe up to 2-$40M

I'd be completely fine with rolling with what we have and seeing what we get out of the young players

Jake Meyers and Chas as your 3rd/4th OFers...I'm of the believe that Jake will be much better next year


I want to replace Dubon with Hensley on the roster. Also giving Pedro Leon a serious look if he shows early in AAA


In lieu of any major free agent signings, I would like to make another serious run at extending Tucker this offseason

And then focusing at the trade deadline on a big splash to address what we need after 3 months of baseball. I want to go big after whatever is our big missing piece

3/24 feels like a bargain for Montero. I know he's had an up and down career.

I would love to re-sign JV, but 3/120 is a lot of money to tie up in a 40 year old pitcher, especially when you have 6 other high quality starters.
