Yeah, but only hit the HR because he knew what pitch was coming. Nevermind that it was a grooved middle/middle FB.Ag4life80 said:
Game 5 - best baseball game ever. I was fortunate enough to be there with my son
Springer's home run is the best moment of the best game. These guys work their asses off to live the dream of playing on the grandest stage in the sport. Then, Springer blows a play in the field that costs his team the lead.
Then, the very next inning.....redemption. It's the essence of sports.
How long before teams start implementing this in real games? We’re gonna designate a no-swing guy in our lineup. Clearly this has an effect on pitchers if they know all they have to do is pump three strikes in there. According to this small sample, half the time they can’t do it. https://t.co/yF9Q2j8mR2

Maybe Dubon can be our "no swing guy"

Watching through roku on MLB.tv, it keeps going to 'reconnecting' for me. Doubt it's a tabs thing.texasaggie2015 said:
Is that feed pausing when you switch tabs for anyone else?
Remember when the Brewers fan beat him up?Quote:
Billy Spiers wore #28 from 1996-2001 and was a great glue guy for the Astros, playing all over the field. He hit .288 in 6 years for the Astros including .320 in 1997 in 132 games with a .919 OPS. In 1998, he scored the Astros a walk-off win in Game 2 of the NLDS, which I'm happy to say I went to in person. Got the hit off Trevor Hoffman, who had gone 53 for 54 on saves that year.

Is he injured? The clip said he was just tracking pitches but didn't say why

Altuve would never just watch a strike on a first pitch much less stand there for 5 straight pitches. Altuve will lead the season off this way.

Really scary. I looked it up but didn't put it in the other post. It was in 1999.texasaggie2015 said:Remember when the Brewers fan beat him up?Quote:
