They did replace Joey Gallo's $10.2MM salary with Adolis Garcia's $719k salary.

They both have 45 strikeouts in 35 games. So not all of their moves have been complete disasters.

I just want to congratulate the Rangers on climbing the ladder. You are now tied for 2nd place in the West. Way to go!

Of course the fine print is you did it by going 4-6 in the last 10 games, losing 3 games in that span to the first place Houston Astros (AKA Daddy) and by having the Angels go on an 0-13 beatdown. So its not really climbing the ladder so much as not falling down nearly as fast as the guy in front who has completely fallen off the ladder and discovering gravity is a could heartless *****.

But its a glass half full kind of thing right?

25.5 GB and 14 under 0.500. That close to being in contention. I think one more $150 MM shortstop should be enough to make a difference.
