If you have a playoff game rained out in your home stadium you should have to forfeit the game. Total BS if they do that. Don't think there's any precedent for not using the off day as a make up game day. MLB knows our pitching depth gives us a huge edge if we have to go five in a row.
In retrospect, it would have been a whole lot better if Framler got game 1, but that's all academic now.

Can't see what the schedule was in 2008 after the postponement in a quick search. However, in the 1962 WS G5 was pushed a day cause of weather. G6 was scheduled for the next day after G5, but weather pushed that game too for several days. Should have just started the game earlier. It's not hard to read a weather report in the days leading up. 24 hours ahead tell the team and fans, the game will start at 5:03 instead of 7:03. Make the necessary changes. That would be annoying, yes, but it would also prevent a much more annoying move of delaying 3 to 5 other days.

In 2019 ALCS vs the Yankees, game 4 was rained out, which bumped games 4 and 5. They omitted the travel day though and game 6 was played the next day after game 5.

They're using their lefties against a right-handed pitcher. The thing is, Lance has reverse splits this year. The only pitch getting hit hard this year is the sinker.
