Game 3 is Mr "Run anywhere you want and it's fine" Tom Hallion. Buckle up and hang on.

Brantley also made a YUGE play last night running into the corner to catch that almost HR. Yes he definitely stays in the lineup.Harry Stone said:
bregs is batting 0 and correa .143. IF they get it going this series is over. after the way brantley is hitting, theres no way he sits in atlanta. gotta go to RF.

He made some good contact in the first at bat. Pulled one just foul and slapped another oppo just foul. Those are good signs he is close to breaking out of the slump. I'm all for switching him with Yuli's spot in the order but he has to stay in the lineup.texasaggie2015 said:
Bregman just doesn't look right. He posted a story on IG last night about his swing being off. It's been a weird year for him between the injury and probably never being able to get his timing all the way back before the playoffs started.
At every Atlanta home game, fans raise and lower their right arms in unison, howling a mock war chant.

Is this what MLB wants its nationwide TV audience to see during the World Series? Evidently, says @stephapstein https://t.co/kyOZMeXeB2 pic.twitter.com/mXMNp8zTxs

Also, Bregs and Correa better pull their head out. I agree with you, IF they can this lineup will RAKE and not even the Braves rotation of Smoltz, Glavin, and Maddux could stop them.
I never said he doesn't need to be in the lineup. I'm just saying he doesn't look right... which I think is stating the obvious. Here's to hoping he turns it around in Atlanta.Teddy Perkins said:He made some good contact in the first at bat. Pulled one just foul and slapped another oppo just foul. MLB, club won't budge on Atlanta baseball team's nickname, but here's why I won't use it. https://t.co/gfe5ugwRpn

Can someone gif this please?
The Damn Yankees won nine straight road games in the Series. First two came in the '26 Series when they won the last two games in St. Louis (the Redbirds would win that Series by winning Games 6 & 7 at Yankee Stadium). They would go on sweep in '27 (Pirates), '28 (Cardinals), & '32 (Cubbies) which is a total of 6 road wins. The final win in the streak came against the Giants '36 Series at the Polo Grounds.helloimustbegoing said:
Headed to Atlanta with a 4-game World Series road winning streak. No idea what the record is, but that's got to be close, right?

Holy ***** Those teams should have been made to play with only 7 guys or come into each inning with 1 out already. I was just looking at Lou Gehrig's stats earlier - he had 150 career plate appearances in the World Series and slashed .361/.483/.731. 34 World Series games, and he had at least one RBI in 30 of them,jkag89 said:The Damn Yankees won nine straight road games in the Series. He had a couple missed calls, but not many. And I definitely don't think they favored one team over the other.Ag_07 said:
I really didn't think it was that big.
He called some borderline strikes that were out of the done but I don't recall any calls that made me curse at the TV.
I thought it was actually one of the better called games we've seen recently.
