Kulpa did his job last night. He called a game and nobody complained. Well Pearl Boy did but he's an idiot and it was a strike all the way.

Game 3 is Mr "Run anywhere you want and it's fine" Tom Hallion. Buckle up and hang on.

bregs is batting 0 and correa .143. IF they get it going this series is over. after the way brantley is hitting, theres no way he sits in atlanta. gotta go to RF.

I'm so down on him, that I was stoked he got an RBI last night.

Brantley also made a YUGE play last night running into the corner to catch that almost HR. Yes he definitely stays in the lineup.

Also, Bregs and Correa better pull their head out. I agree with you, IF they can this lineup will RAKE and not even the Braves rotation of Smoltz, Glavin, and Maddux could stop them.

I have to admit, the views of MMP with the roof open last night looked amazing on tv.

Bregman just doesn't look right. He posted a story on IG last night about his swing being off. It's been a weird year for him between the injury and probably never being able to get his timing all the way back before the playoffs started.

Bregman seems off for whatever reason and most of his at bats are not close to a quality at bat. You can get out and still have a quality at bat. Not so much at this time for him.

Outfield has to be Tucker, Brantley and Alvarez in Atlanta. These 3 have to stay in the lineup.

He made some good contact in the first at bat. Pulled one just foul and slapped another oppo just foul. Those are good signs he is close to breaking out of the slump. I'm all for switching him with Yuli's spot in the order but he has to stay in the lineup.

I said it before Game 2 with the way the left handed bats were going we needed one of Altuve, Correa, and Bregs to come up big. Altuve was the one in Game 2.

Need Reggie Jackson to go help Carlos in the cage the same way he helped Atluve during BP before Game 2.

I wonder if that Mr. October hat got to Correa's head a little. He hasn't done much of anything since then.

They showed Bregman's postseason average last night and it was higher than I would have expected, I think upper 200's? He had that home run at Fenway. Hasn't been awful.

I never said he doesn't need to be in the lineup. I'm just saying he doesn't look right... which I think is stating the obvious. Here's to hoping he turns it around in Atlanta.

Headed to Atlanta with a 4-game World Series road winning streak. No idea what the record is, but that's got to be close, right?

The Damn Yankees won nine straight road games in the Series. First two came in the '26 Series when they won the last two games in St. Louis (the Redbirds would win that Series by winning Games 6 & 7 at Yankee Stadium). They would go on sweep in '27 (Pirates), '28 (Cardinals), & '32 (Cubbies) which is a total of 6 road wins. The final win in the streak came against the Giants '36 Series at the Polo Grounds.

Man it was fun to win a WS at home again. 2019 Gm 6 atmosphere was great but didn't pull thru, then Gm 7 was almost quiet since everyone was so nervous - so close but …

It got plenty loud with roof open but not the constant loud excited
Buzz you get with closed roof. Several open seats in the field box level and we experienced same thing another poster said earlier - Usher came down and told some fans to sit down - actually used the phrase "excessive standing" - then saw it was a couple Braves fans that did the complaining. Come on Ushers - realize home field advantage means just that, don't ever listen to visiting fans, and act like it's the WS not a game in mid June vs KC.

Yeah I don't get that. Stay your ass at home on the couch if you don't want to be a part of the game atmosphere and stand up when warranted.

Why Altuve makes the HOF

Altuve is now 10th all-time in at bats with 305. Chipper Jones is 9th at 338, so he won't get there without a 7-game series with a few extra-inning affairs. Jeter is first with an insane 650.

Altuve is now 4th in all-time runs scored with 66. He passed Kenny Lofton last night and he's one behind ManRam now in 148 fewer plate appearances. Bernie is 2nd with 83 and Jeter is 1st with 111.

By the way, Beltran still holds the all-time record for runs scored in a post-season with 21 during our '04 run, which is crazy since it didn't even end with the World Series.

Altuve is now tied for 10th all-time in hits at 88 with David Ortiz. He could move up the rankings quickly is he keeps hitting. David Justice is 9th at 89, Pujols if 8th at 95, and Chipper Jones and Kenny Lofton are tied for 6th at 97. Jeter is the leader with friggin' 200 on the money.

Altuve is now 4th in all-time total bases with 169. He passed Ortiz last night. Pujols is 4th with 172. Jeter is the leader with 302.

The HRs and Altuve/Correa's RBI numbers have been previously discussed.

Are they comparing doing the brave chop to support your own team to calling the opponent a gay slur to insult them?

This is what I don't get about the outrage of all this, they're called the Braves as a term of respect and reverence.

Holy ***** Those teams should have been made to play with only 7 guys or come into each inning with 1 out already. I was just looking at Lou Gehrig's stats earlier - he had 150 career plate appearances in the World Series and slashed .361/.483/.731. 34 World Series games, and he had at least one RBI in 30 of them,

In that 1928 WS against St. Louis, he was 6 for 11 with 4 home runs and his slash was .545/.606/1.727 - an OPS of 2.433, totally ridiculous.

This is why I loathe corporate media. There are stories to push and they'll push them to the moon.

Astros: 2017 cheating scandal
Braves: Tomahawk chop

Rinse, repeat.

The games are boring to them. They want to gin up as much controversy as they can because it works.

I really didn't think it was that big.

He called some borderline strikes that were out of the done but I don't recall any calls that made me curse at the TV.

I thought it was actually one of the better called games we've seen recently.
He had a couple missed calls, but not many. And I definitely don't think they favored one team over the other.

Heck, during the game, I can only think of Joc being upset with a call and Joc was wrong.

but I'm dumb and they can't help themselves
