The A's, once again have a horseshoe fall out of their ass late.

CF is a GM issue more than a Dusty issue.
The GM also failed to get the needed bullpen help.
I also found it funny how Blum and Kalas made mention that his sprint speed is third fastest on the team behind Chas and ALtuveagproducer said:astros4545 said:

I don't think we are fixated on his arm. It's just a symptom of what he is: a AAAA player.
It's painfully obvious he is not the answer in CF.
He is patient at the plate, but he has no pop.
He can't bunt, and he's not great at stealing bags, so guys speed is virtually worthless.
He takes awful routes to balls in the outfield.
I said it last night: his performance at the plate does not make up for the fact he is a defensive liability.
He is a one tool player.

Maybe, but he's not dumb (I don't think). How many big leaguers last long with a sub .600 OPS?Ag_07 said:Farmer1906 said:

Or how about feeling comfortable with his starting gig and not feeling like he needs to battle for PT.

Lance Lynn last night said "there are no rules" when a position player is pitching, adding: "The more I play this game, the more those (unwritten) rules have gone away."
— Chris Emma (@CEmma670) May 19, 2021
Tony La Russa said of those remarks: "Lance has a locker. I have an office. ... I don't agree."
No way their owner fires him. IIRC, that's who hired him without the GM's involvement. He's gonna turn that clubhouse into a toxic waste dump.bearkatag15 said:Lance Lynn last night said "there are no rules" when a position player is pitching, adding: "The more I play this game, the more those (unwritten) rules have gone away."

La Russa is so done... these responses to his players are so out of touch
