Yeah there's no doubt the umpire took too much control in this game late, and completely in Oakland's favor.

Disgusting loss to a mediocre team. Can't wait until the A's get exposed eventually

Straw has hit better recently, but not well enough to make up for the fact he is a defensive liability.

That's the kinda performance that makes me wanna quit caring about sports.

1) score 2 runs in the 7th, and lead off the bottom half with 2 walks... 1 scores

2) lead off walk in the 8th... run scores

3) lead off walk in the 9th... run scores, game over.

Not to mention OUR MLB CENTER FIELDER BACKING UP ON A LAZY POP UP WHEN HE CATCHES IT, KNOWING ITS BALLGAME UNLESS HE HOSES A GUY TAGGING UP FROM THIRD.

What makes you think they will? They have done this the last 3 years.

We've just happened to have 2 of the worlds best starting pitchers for 3 of those.

They have a freaking solid bullpen that doesn't walk guys. That keeps them in games enough.

They are a good team and it's going to take our bullpen to stop walking guys to beat them.

There were 4 plays tonight off the top of my head that go completely different if we have Jake in CF.

1) dropped ball at the wall
2) runner doesn't go or gets gunned down on sac fly in the 7th
3) runner doesn't attempt to go 1st to 3rd on single in the 9th
4) would've been an actual play at the plate on GW sac fly
