Looking at the standings...we're the only team in the division with a plus run differential (and a healthy +45 at that). Everyone else is in the red. That being said we're mainly responsible for this anomaly.

We now trail Oakland by 1.5 games. We have 3 more vs the Rangers and they have 3 more vs the Twins then its Astros @ A's. That series should give us a chance to overtake them.

I'll never forget TK and Blummer's reaction. They were calling the game from CF and they were just in awe of what happened. A lot of 'What just happened here?' and laughing.

Yeah, I think you're right.

The Mrs. and I took the boys to that A's game. The years kinda run together recently though. I do remember being pissed at the bullpen gacking up that big lead and then when we scored the winning run we were all extremely confused and like "WTF just happened here?" It wasn't until we got home and saw the highlights that it became clear Lucroy skipped his throw to first off Bregman's helmet.

I thought that was Hosmer and the Padres.


Bregman too and the same season as the As walk off dink. Bregman had two walk offs that didn't make it half way to 1st that season

It was. It was against the Padres, and Hosmer is the one who dropped the pop up

I don't have high hopes for what he can do but as the old saying goes, hunger is the best cook.....and I'm hungry for a CF. Candidly I'd settle for him sucking as much as Straw offensively but actually playing good defense.

I'm sure Click wants to see more than a weeks worth of good hitting plus, as mentioned in the comments on that tweet, waiting until mid June gives the club an extra year of control and time to figure out the 40 man roster issue.

I'm just interested in seeing something different rather than Straw or McCormick
