He had an aggressive lead and didn't hesitate to go home. That plus the speed and there wasn't a chance that pitcher got home before him.

In other news, the Rockies were up 10-0 on the Reds before giving up 8 runs in the 8th. The Reds are still batting. They sure can put up some runs.

The Rangers' feed on Bally's was about :30 behind and I started flipping channels forward and caught it happening "live" on there...little extra layer of enjoyment.

Yeah, straw read and played it perfectly, so wouldn't have mattered. But that pitcher needs to be at least close to home. I didn't notice on any replays, but he must've been completely flat footed or just said eff it we don't have a chance

Dusty's removing Yordan from the game...that was shades of Cecil Cooper always taking out Carlos Lee in the 8th or 9th...and then the 2008 / 2009 Astros would miss his bat in extras

not 6 weeks ago everyone was so worried about his knees, no one wanted him running out ground balls to first base. Obviously his knees are good now but maybe its done on purpose to keep him healthy all year
