along those lines...it is disappointing that the Aledmys Diaz trade has bombed in the postseason.

he is 0 for 9 with 1 walk. Been a complete nonfactor.

maybe tonight is the night...although he hasn't played since Game 1

Deshaun didn't go to London?

I saw his eye injury on Sunday it looked kind of yucky. As someone who's had a bad eye injury before I know how much that sucks.

Wonder if he'll say "Play ball, play ball, play ball!"

Definitely a different feeling for me before this Game 7 vs. two years ago. In 2017, it was excitement and great hope. Tonight, it's more subdued and holding my breath.

It will feel much worse to lose this one, and relief if it's a win. 2017 was exhilaration. I guess that's the difference in perception between being the lovable Houston Strong Astros compared to the heavy favorite Astros this year.

Seems like a strange choice given Houston has a history of its own. Does Matthew McConaughey have some connection to Houston I don't know about or does MLB just think he is from Texas and that is good enough?

Deshaun Watson was supposed to do it but backed out because of his eye injury. I'm assuming Matthew was the first famous Texan who answered the phone.

BAS setting in. I do not like the momentum swing from yesterday. I don't like making Bregs apologize publicly for the bat deal. I don't like the suddenly magically healed Scherzer.

I got a dog so that won't fix it. Damn BAS has ruined me with sports.

Stop worrying about the narrative and just enjoy the moment as they don't come around often. Baseball and sports in general are about community and bringing families together but it is just a game.

Enjoy the moment with your family and friends and a win or a loss is completely irrelevant.

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't think we'd win 4 in a row and have a hard time believing the home team loses they game in the series.

Sorry to offend you. I'm so excited we got a big name. I guess his biggest roles were a supporting part in Dazed and Confused and one season of True Detective. Awesome!

A few quick ideas with some tie to Houston:

Biggio, Bagwell, JR Richard, Dierker, Jose Cruz, Nolan Ryan

Andy Petitte who has a pretty good playoff history with 19 wins
