You don't pitch Cole on short rest in game 6 because you aren't risking elimination, but you also don't do it to save him for Game 1 of the WS. My point was that if you're making decisions based on the world series, you've just overlooked an opponent that won 103 games this year and scored more runs than anyone else in baseball (even more than the Astros).

Until his final AB last night, I was fully willing to stick it out with Yordan because his bat is so dangerous.

That last AB was so putrid though. He had absolutely no thought other than "I don't care where or what these pitches are, but I'm selling out on every one of them, because I'm completely lost".

You HAVE to sit him, at least for tonight. Let Diaz DH.

I was really disappointed by the loss last night. But certainly nobody expected us to sweep them in NYC.

Bottom line now is I'd much rather be in Stros position versus Yanks. And if you grew up a Stros fan it's best to not get too worked up and nervous and just enjoy the moments because they don't last forever.

Avoided this place at all costs last night. Hope everyone survived.

Just an odd kinda game. Seemed like both teams blew their was in the first then just we're on cruise control.

Alvarez is 1-for-19 with a single, 2 walks, and 10 strikeouts. His average is .053 for the ALCS.

Put Tucker in at DH so he doesn't have to worry about playing the field. He might get a ball and go yard and he's got much more speed to where if he gets on, he can move around the basepaths against Gary "No Throw, but Also Not Really Hit" Sanchez.
