Hopefully JV goes 8 and spares our BP

We need to stop playing hero ball and start trying to just keep it simple and get walks, get hits, apply pressure and the runs will follow

Yordan is batting .056 with an OPS of .206 in the playoffs. The real shocker is Yuli is worse. he's batting .053 with an OPS of .148. And the Yankees have 4 guys OPSing over 1 and are down 3-1.

At this point it would have to be Diaz and I know what you are going to say however Alverez the rookie has shown no sign that he can perform on a stage of this magnitude. Diaz can't do worse and maybe his experience will be a factor

I agree. Alvarez and Brantley both are having to defend a very wide plate all night and Paxton had that cutter working away very well. They both had outside pitches called strikes and both had to expand. They saw 34 combined pitches I believe.
