I've always thought it was strange that this "definition of insanity" is so often quoted. Nothing to do with actual insanity. Definition of stubbornness + stupidity, maybe.

This is why some of us were so pissed after the first inning. Because this offense has been our offense for the whole playoffs. Outside of Altuve and a couple swings by George on Carlos on mistake pitches over the center of the plate, we have been anemic.

Of course, I hope we break out and win. But at this point you can't EXPECT to give up 4 runs in the first, keep it at 4 runs over 8 more innings, and us also score 3-4. We just haven't done it. Against good pitching, we've been awful. And it's not bad luck if every one of Yulis swings are line drives to the middle of the outfield, it's more likely they are giving him that than he is "creaming it and getting bad luck".

Our approach at the plate just isn't good. The pitchers know what we want to do and have had no problem executing for the most part. We feed right into their plan.
