Cole going on short rest seems monumentally dumb...in my opinion anyway....but not my job to manage. I imagine AJ has a good feel of the situation though I presumed he had a good feel when JV went short against the Rays.
I have a hard time believing Cole would dictate his start to Hinch and an even harder time believing AJ would acquiesce.

I started checking flights at the conclusion of last nights games and was considering taking the plunge to go to NYC. Should have done it, ticket prices have PLUMMETED for tonight's game. Get in the stadium for $40 and some really good seats in the $150 range.

Yankee fans have given up, and so will their team in about 45 mins!

Doesn't matter. Hinch could say he's starting Altuve pitching in Game 6. It is all ending tonight.

That's a good memory. We were sitting in the outfield for that game with my dad. . I think that was also the triple play that they took away from us. And yes I remember Rose spiking the final out. But what a team - Rose, Carlton, Schmidt, etc.
