I think this makes a lot of sense. Concussions can be scare to deal with and rough to recognize as an individual.

If you're not good enough to go this inning you weren't good enough last inning.

He should not have been behind the plate.

The sitting around is going to be secondary to getting used to a completely different strike zone. Cole was living up high and there is no telling if he's still going to get that call. Now, the pitchers and batters are going to have to feel this game out again.

Yeah, at least he finally admitted the concussion. Big man. Gotta be tough to do when this is one of the things you work towards as an umpire. He was wildly inconsistent that last half inning though.

6 umpires is really unnecessary anyways. Not sure what the delay is for. Just don't have an ump down one of the lines

Totally agree. He didn't do it on purpose but he affected the game by trying to stay in for that half inning. Get out at the full inning if you can.
