Depressing game. 9th got a little interesting, but it shouldn't have came to that. Just amazing to me that Verlander gave up all the runs.

Nothing wrong with lineup, although would move Brantley back to 3. A lot of poor discipline and only Bregman and Altuve have it going at the plate out of 7 all star caliber hitters

the 102-win 98 club was done after two disastrous games in San Diego.

Back at home and Cole with full rest... some of you need to chill the **** out. We lose game 5 and you can flame away. Last I checked the Astros can still win the World Series. Pretty sure losing 2 in Tampa doesn't eliminate you.

that's true.

but Hinch still needs to make some changes. Guys that haven't hit in games 1 thru 4 aren't going to magically hit because it's game 5.

Hinch has to be proactive

In my opinion, Cole would be a better choice for game 5. It certainly would have been better to have Cole start game 1 against the Yankees. I would not think Hinch would have started Cole over Verlander in game 5 had someone else started game 4.

I had a bad feeling the Ray's were going to take both in the Trop. Things were just lining up that way.
