We stuck with George at the top for years and much bigger slumps, but 3 bad games and it's over.

Who are the Rays going with at SP tomorrow?
Maybe start with Urquidy and then go with JV to finish? We'l have Cole on full rest Thursday if we need it.aggiechris06 said:
Do we know if the plan is to start Verlander on short rest tomorrow?? Or do we throw urquidy and then pull him at the first sign of trouble??

wouldnt surprise me if Verlander is ready to go about 3 innings in relief if we have a small lead.aggiechris06 said:

If you're going to bring JV in at all, you might as well start him...Wabs said:Maybe start with Urquidy and then go with JV to finish? We'l have Cole on full rest Thursday if we need it.aggiechris06 said:

History shows going on short rest isnt a good idea. We used JV out of the bullpen before. We have Cole on full rest ready to go. I would win at all costs tomorrow.crowman2010 said:If you're going to bring JV in at all, you might as well start him...Wabs said:Maybe start with Urquidy and then go with JV to finish? You only bring in JV in a tight game tomorrow.crowman2010 said:If you're going to bring JV in at all, you might as well start him...Wabs said:Maybe start with Urquidy and then go with JV to finish? We'l have Cole on full rest Thursday if we need it.aggiechris06 said:

Hopefully, this is our **** game of the series.
At all cost? So mortgage the future? No chance of signing Springer, Correa, and selling Greinke at a discount?Agnzona said:
We got to sign Cole no matter the cost. Next year this is an average staff at best.
The error was taking Greinke out, IMO. He should have just been left in and gone 7 minimum.Wabs said:
Is Smith going to finish this game? Why bring Miley out??
I agree, by why the **** Pull Miley? Just wasting bullpen arms at this point....Ag12thman said:The error was taking Greinke out, IMO. He should have just been left in and gone 7 minimum.Wabs said:

Yeah - and Smith has been decent and will be needed tomorrow or in game 5. I guess Hinch has hopes that we score 7 runs.Wabs said:I agree, by why the **** Pull Miley? this game is a prime example of why pitching is so important in the playoffs
Game 2: We score 3 runs, and win
Game 3: We score 3 runs, and are getting blown out
really? Had no idea..astros4545 said:tjholley16 said:

Hitting is also important
And so is defense

Getting outscored now 13-12 in this series. Yes, we'll still be up 2-1, but really need to get the bats going tomorrow.....
