So I really like this years postseason dugout hoodie.

Remind me: do those change with each round? I don't ever like to buy things when we end up in a later round. They say Postseason but will that say ALDS, ALCS, World Series later on?

I remember the 2017 hoodie for the World Series was different. The diamond with WS in the middle. Can't remember if they had different hoodies for ALCS.

I don't. They pushed us to the brink last year. Kept our starters from getting healthy. I blame them in large part to our post season issues.

EE was trying (unsuccessfully) to make the same point yesterday - that we are reliant on the HR. We hit HRs but are not reliant on them we hit for average and we walk and we make lots of contact, so we can chip away at a lead without necessarily having to hit homers.


My point was that we were fairly reliant on HRs. Not to the degree of the A's, and yes we have the ability to hit and get traffic on base...but we've also underperformed relative to our potential with RISP.

Games 1 and 2 at home are must wins. Astros generally forget how to hit in the Trop, they have a sub-500 record there in the last few years.

2018 had different hoodies for the WS as well.

The LDS and LCD were the postseason ones. 2017 were the TAKE17 with the team mottos on them. 2018 just said postseason and had the team motto on them (ie DO DAMAGE for Boston).

Glasnow and Snell? (Snell hasn't pitched more than 2.1 innings since his return... and Glasnow hasn't gotten higher than 4.1) Yarbrough looks like another starter they can use.

I'm guessing we're going to see a lot of Johnny Fullstaff type games as they have a lot of "bulk" relievers.
