You sound pretty pleased with our ineffectiveness in that regard just because we ended up with a W against a bad team

We're going to be playing much better teams in the playoffs and every run counts

I bet you're right and means the playoff field is very salty. We better be ready to play. You know how the Ags come out at halftime this season...we need to be the opposite of that.

Bregman isn't hitting .300... his day today confirmed it.

He's sitting at 163/553 on the season. Only a 4 for 4 or 5 for 5 day gets him there.

3 for 4 and 4 for 5 both fall short

Correa in danger of being left off the playoff roster?

You know, I'm not even sure I want him on the roster. He's done a lot of damage to his reputation this year.

I'm not a Correa fan right now either, but this team has been scuffling recently on offense and he is still the best offensive short stop in the game when he is healthy. He played 75 games this year and hit 21 HRs... That's a better pace than Bregman.

The lineup can use that extra layer of power in the 7 hole.
