That's what I read. Based on Hinch's comments, Cole should pitch the 8th. And he doesnt plan to pull anyone else early in their last starts.

yeah. They haven said anyone in the pen was warming up, maybe he sends him out for his 10th K and that streak. That would put him at 303 and even if he had one more start a shot at 313.

Yuli. Man, I wish he was about 5 years younger. He's had a great, great year. He is showing no signs of decline, but you have to wonder how many more years he can play at this level.

It would be great if Yordan could come around as a 1B and Yuli could DH a la Beltran.

He makes the least amount in his contract next season at $8mm. Its also the last year of his contract and will be a UFA in 2021. I wonder if we offer him a 2 year extension this offseason?

Luhnow likes to lock up his guys, but Yuli will be 36 or 37 when he becomes an UFA. A two year extension at reasonable price would be nice. Didn't Beltran get $15m for his year long deal?
