If it can be handled without the police to the satisfaction of both parties it should be handled without the police. The justice system is just going to muck it up. I am sure Deetz got some cash considerations

The only downside to losing homefield to the Dodgers is I really want Grienke to be able to bat but with the playoffs who knows what the rotations will look like depending on how long each series go.

On second thought, scratch all this talk, I don't want to tempt the baseball gods. I just want us to make the playoffs and we'll take it from there.

strangely enough...I'm okay with George getting a day off. Just 1 for 9 in the series hitting in front of Altuve, Brantley, and Bregman who have been hot.

however Hinch needs to be ready use him as a pinch hitter for any of the 7 thru 9

something may not be quite right. He's hitting .303 in August and drawing walks, but not hitting for power. Only 3 HR's this month and all solo shots
