He had a good start in April.
Maybe we played him too much? I think we should just give him a nice six month rest to recover and hopefully he can get back to April numbers

I dunno at least I think that's a best case scenario for us.
Even a Yankees sweep of them wouldn't be bad if we sweep the Angels. We'd stay 1 behind them and tied with LA.
I'd take both of those scenarios going into September.

Hm, really went out on a limb there didn't you.... This team is supposed to be first in the AL West. Post was meant to highlight the first base production in the first half, particularly Yuli's, which was not where it needed to be for a real World Series contending lineup. Yordan was a God send too, but Yuli's impact on run production in the second half can't be understated.

There was that stretch of games he was batting leadoff and was terrible. Has he sucked since then? Maybe failing in that role did some mental damage?

According to fan graphs his K per 9 ratio is below league average. Peaked around 2011-2012. Obviously pitching is more than strikeouts but the high level of contact can create some white knuckle moments with traffic on bases in playoffs.
