Hinch is sometimes too easy going. I know there are pros and cons but damn. This was supposed to be the "easy" stretch of the season. Totally lost focus.

It is so damn frustrating how many games we have lost to ****ty teams. I get that it's baseball, but we're losing too many games that we shouldn't.

That was disappointing.

Go for the win tomorrow. Take 3 of 4 from the Tigers.

I don't expect the Astros to win every single game, but they absolutely wasted a great game by JV.

There are times when you need to put additional pressure on the fielders by forcing throws, but when you are down in a game in the 9th, don't try to stretch a double into a triple when there are two outs. That isn't the time to force the issue, especially with a runner as slow as Chirinos.

Yep. 100 or so pitches over nine innings with none of them really being stressful is easier on the arm and body than 100 or so pitches in seven or fewer innings with one or two of those innings having 20+ pitches.

Who's to say it wasn't any one of the other 46 losses, some of which were to worse teams and worse loses than that one?
