he's 15 of 89 at the plate this season.

in 97 plate appearances he has a grand total of 4 runs scored and 3 RBI.

(and throw in 1 GiDP for good measure)

The Arlingtonians are busy right now arguing about Rat Face and how he gets no love for all the HR he hits. They wonder if there is a metric that shows why he hits HR's but doesn't have many other runs he contributes to. I refuse to post there and say the words "Its called Runs Created and wRC+ and he sucks at it."

I remember when AJ Reed hit for the cycle at Blue Bell park and also won the game on the mound that day. Or maybe no triple but two home runs. Kentucky swept the series. I'm not sure we ever got him out that weekend.

I'm in the car listening to the SiriusXM cards feed and they are complaining about the rule change next year making relievers pitch to a min of 3 batters. The play by play guy makes a comment to the effect "is just another dumb way to speed up the game. It won't work". I'm thinking "how about you make your players quit messing around and hit and pitch."

Cards pitchers take an INSANE amount of time between pitches. They be completely set with the sign and everything and still take 3-5 seconds to deliver the pitch.
