Astros have to think about signing Cole to the big deal at the rate he's playing, right? Verlander is only around for so long, Whitley has documented maturity issues, and there really isn't much else left in the system at this point as far as top-tier arms.

I let Correa walk tomorrow. He's shown to be a surplus player. Maybe one day he'll manage a full season, but it won't be with us paying him $27MM+ per year.

They were in stock in all sizes at all the sites today. I am sure NewEra is going to keep doing runs until they don't sell out. I even used a coupon to get mine for $32 pick up in store from lids today.

It's going to be very difficult to keep him while staying under the luxury tax. Truth is we can't absorb a $200M long term contract.

I think Lunhow will try and re-sign Miley, trade for another 2 (or 3) that's hopefully undervalued in the market which we can improve, and roll with the following:

JV
LMJ
Trade
Miley
AAA call up

I don't really see us having any big signings in the off-season. Maybe a catcher and some bullpen help.
