Straw has hit as well as anyone on the team. Had a bad AB, but he's not the problem.

Looking back, Peacock made a pretty good pitch. It was low just barley catching a piece of the zone (as I recall). How Sanchez hit it 481' is suspicious.

Bregman Did what he did in his 1st full season.

Sanchez has played multiple seasons as an average at best power hitter who was an easy out in the playoffs. Now he has 25 HR's and 52 RBI's in June.

Bregman has shown a far more drastic increase since he came into the league. Sanchez started out slugging from the get-go.

ETA: Bregman gain between 2017 WS and 2018 spring training.



So Bregman got abs and realized his 1st round potential fairly early in his career.

Sanchez was an easy out who hit Homer's against bad pitchers. This pace he's on is suspicious. He's never been the guy to golf a low outside pitch 485 feet like he did tonight.

Your numbers show Sanchez hitting less HR's per AB each season. Bergman's trend has always been up, not down like Sanchez.

Sanchez hit likely the longest HR i've ever seen in MMP off Giles last year. 485 feet tonight is crazy, but the guy hits bombs.

Take it it to the extreme much? It was a horrible at bat with RISP down by 1. Swing the ****ing bat, at least once while you're up there.
