Exactly. Like last night in the top of the 8th, runners on 2nd and 3rd, two outs, and down by one. Kemp at the plate with a shift to the right side of the infield and the third baseman playing near the bag to hold the runner. If Kemp pokes one the other way to the location the SS traditionally plays at least one run scores. Instead a ground out to second and inning over.
