I'm sure it has been discussed already, but Stroman+Smoak in a trade seems likely. Smoak is in the final year of his deal and would do well in this lineup. He walks alot because the Jays lineup isn't strong, he will see a lot more pitches in a fully healthy Astros lineup.

This is also likely the only way Gurriel would be traded, as he would be on the same team as Lourdes. I like other 1B more in the market, but Smoak would essentially be a throw in if we traded for Stroman.

We made some pretty big moves in 15 and 17. We tried to get Harper last year and were damn close. We've also been down to the wire for Britton and made a big effort for Hamels & Lucroy.
