I agree completely

I know we oogle about the arms down on the farm but have any of them come up and done anything worthwhile?

All the studs we have were acquired via trade. Unless I'm missing someone we haven't had a draft pick arm pan out since LMJ and he's still somewhat of a question mark.

We have a huge lead in the division, and we're on a roll with our AAAA team. This is the perfect time to give fringe guys the opportunity to sink or swim in tough situations.

I tend to agree with position players but pitchers are different.

There's no one to pick you up when you fck up when out on the mound as opposed to hitting in the lineup.

But, you also have to think ahead to playoffs. The Astros don't have a situational lefty. Devo is a right-hander who would usually get those opportunities, but here's been shaky. Hinch may have been looking to see what Bad-uan had.
