Last season we came out of the gates struggling on offense too... people started jumping off the cliff. We won 103 games
That's a good reminder for all of the folks that started watching baseball in September of that year.Frok said:
Yeah I think we've done this a few years in a row. I remember in 2017 Juila had to eat grasshoppers to spark the offense in Seattle.

The Mariners seem to be very productive on offense. Either that or the Red Sox are really bad. The rangers have put up 8 on the Cubs. Our bottom three in the order have produced nothing (pudding, catcher, and Kemp/marisnick), so they need to get it together. Hopefully we'll see something tomorrow.
It's game 3. Tap the breaks
Who said I was panicking? My point is the division is going to be slighty more competitive this year. Not as much margin for error, so can't start out in a hole.

It's always interesting to see how long it takes for the overreacters, joke overreactors and rational-perspectivists to start clashing.
The timing is probably consistent with the first two game losing streak of the season.

Just wait until Correa Ks in his first AB and this board rips into him. Only to go oppo taco later for the game winner.

a couple of notes for Hinch...
the most AB's in a season for Diaz is 460; and his most games played is 130.
he's not an everyday player

Shorter throw to first for Diaz. Excellent managing by Hinch.

The long offseason made me forget how often the other team's seeing eye grounders and bloopers seem to find land and ours seem to find gloves.
