I logged on to offer a way-too-early overreaction, but I see the stampede has already started! Haha.
Here's mine. I watched Diaz in spring training, and now a couple of games in Tampa. Straight up worthless so far. If he was supposed to be Marwin's replacement, well he can't carry Marwin's jock strap.

Bregman is gonna wake up this inning
Marwin was batting under .200 twenty games into last season, so how about we let things play out. And considering how much left field Marwin played, you can argue that Brantley is just as much of a Marwin replacement. I don't expect Diaz to play as much as Marwin.

Hinch has been very reluctant to play Bregs at SS. Well, that's my recollection but I might need to verify it. Has he ever gone on the record as to why?

He didn't slam into a wall, slide into a knee, or have a collision. He was tagged awkwardly in a run down.

Correct. I guess Jeff should have found another former all star short stop to be our utility player.
