I'm on board with letting George be George and taking the extra power for a bit of streakyness.


He can definitely do both. He just needs to recognize when he starts getting into King Kong swing mode and reset himself. I think he could easily be a 300/30/100 type of guy.

I don't necessarily disagree. Kinda just hope he breaks out of the lows earlier than last year and the year before.

Just more what I mean, hope he can do it more often and avoid the longer lows.

last year the Astros were 6-8 at home vs. Oakland and NYY.

Springer is hitting .277 with an OBP of .352 and Slugging .511, hard to say he is in the lows right now.

Get some trainers on that. Hopefully it isn't more than a week or so. Bregs was clearly upset with the injury, but happy with the win. He said "hopefully only out tomorrow, but we will see".

If anyone is watching the Angels/Brewers game on MLB Network, Angels stadium has an absurd amount of trash in the outfield. It looks like someone dumped a couple bags of garbage on the ground and the wind swirled it around.

We owe this dude a good thumping. He's thrown more innings against the Astros than any other club, with 2.89 ERA and a .327 slugging against. Time to break out the bats and level some of those stats.

Most definitely. I remember him hitting a ton of very long fly ball outs in the dome. He would be nice in MMP.

Davis was very streaky. I believe in 1989 he once hit 8 HR's in a 15-game span. And he also had a 10-RBI game at Wrigley.

however Milo would complain that he left too many RBI on the table
