Honestly I think both instances were more Yuli's fault. On the first one about the outfileders slowed up a little bit I think to avoid a collision, otherwise I think they would've tried for a diving catch.

Oh that last one, I think he kind of encroached into first where he shouldn't of been. I get that he's not used to position but looks a little hinky. But you lose a good player and have to adjust, I just think some weirdness going on with this rearrangement.

They were both makeabke plays for Altuve but very tough plays for someone who doesn't even play 2nd.

The problem is no one should miss. You got the out but replace a slow runner with a very fast runner.

Why not Brantley in LF, Jake in CF, Reddick in RF, Kemp at 2B, Yuli at 1B, Tucker/Alvarez at DH and White stays in Boston?

Round Rock is 3 hours from MMP. An OFer should be called tonight and at the park first thing in the morning.

Jake just needs to get out of Boston and back home. He's not seeing the ball at all. Hell, he swung at a pitch that hit him.

Rough way to lose today with a ton of defensive miscues (from Bregman's error to the complete disaster on the right side), and yet another injury.

Normally if you got a 4-3 line against Sale and lost. You wouldn't be too pissed. But Yuli's 2 pop up disasters cost us a win.

With the lead we've built in the West and the fact that everyone else in the division blows, I see the management going ultra conservative on any injuries (ala 2017). It's frustrating as hell for those of us watching and wanting to win every game, but it's all about the post season.

I can't wait until we can be done with the White experiment. He looks and plays like a beer league softball player that's in so far over his head it's laughable. At least Kemp doesn't cost your runs on the base paths by being slow as cold molasses.
