Thought about that as well but with the cheap shots that Yankee Stadium gives up to RF I like his LH bat in there.

I'm just ready for this ALCS
With the quality of baseball and how these teams are built this could go down as one the best LCSs in baseball history.

We couldn't have been a little more secretive with tipping the pitches?
I'd imagine it was something we picked up on the last time we faced him
Loved how Correa watched 2 fastballs right after Bregman told him
I think Straw will become very useful if we make it to the WS, although i have no idea about the ALCS. when we are playing in an NL park, he will become very important on the bases and he is an excellent defender with his speed. I hope they pull Miley out in favor of Peacock, provided he's healthy.Ag_07 said:
So...Lets talk ALCS roster
I'm guessing no Miley and no Straw and we add Peacock and Abreu

Think that's the same AB he watched 2 FBs for strikes then whiffed on a CB in the dirt.

Wait so Bregman explained to Correa exactly how the pitches were being tipped, and Correa then went up and watched two fastballs up the gut and swung at a curve in the dirt?
Did Glasnow figure out what he was doing at that exact moment?
I was wondering the same thing, maybe he figured it out with all the chatter and started tipping in reverse. Correa looked at the first two like it was curveball and swung wildly at the 3rd like he though a FB was inbound.WelchAg said:Maybe he got it backwardsNuke LaLoosh said:

Glasnow returned to the clubhouse, read a flurry of text messages from friends pointing out his flaws and quickly examined video of his first inning. He figured out too late what the Astros had in the first several minutes of the game.

Or maybe no one understands Bregman's spanglish.
Cole probably is cheating less though.MuckRaker96 said:
Mike Scott 1986 NLCS
2-0, 18 innings, 1 ER, 1 BB, 19 K, 8 H, 0.50 ERA, 0.50 WHIP
Gerrit Cole 2019 ALDS
2-0, 15.2 innings, 1 ER, 3 BB, 25 K, 6 H, 0.57 ERA, 0.574 WHIP
2 big differences, the Mets' lineup was worlds ahead of Tampa's, but on the flip side, we lost in 86.
Regardless, I never thought I'd see another playoff performance in my lifetime where I knew 100% in my heart that we were going to win every time a guy started because he had attained unhittable status.
