Win or lose that's not happening. Cole will get the same (or equivalent) lineup tomorrow. No favorites.

You keep saying that. Has AJ said something? Because it really doesn't matter towards the Cy all that much.

He has said he will treat them equally going down to the end because of it. I'm reading that to mean he won't give one a significantly better lineup than the other.

And it could matter. If JV finishes at 21 wins and Cole only 19 because Cole gets a AAA lineup of hitters that could easily sway a vote or two. And if it's close it could matter.

With 4 days off coming up, no reason not to start regulars on Saturday and Sunday. There is a lot of time off coming up.

I think he means treating then the same as far when he yanks them.

Like neither one is on a pitch or innings count.

The lineup doesn't really matter as far the Cy Young is concerned.

Except it does as the lineup goes to run support which could matter for a win/loss/no decision.

I don't think win/loss is going to matter.

If Cole keeps ERA lead, don't see how he loses it

Though I do think you are right about how Hinch will handle though.

What used to be in the train when Enron had the naming rights to the stadium. Now they have oranges in the train, but what was in there when it was still Enron?

We don't play again until October 4. Why does anyone need time off tomorrow?

I mean, besides Crystal Correa.

I'm still weary given the injuries we faced earlier this year with springer and altuve

Enough with the Correa negativity! Everybody is frustrated, including Carlos, but bad mouthing a current Astros player for something out of his control, is bad bull. He's a hell of a shortstop and has been an integral part of this team and our WS run. We can talk about trading him due to his fragility in the off-season.

Only 10 times in the past 73 years. And if you throw out 1998 since two of the teams played each other, the team winning 106+ games won the world series only out of 5 out of 8 times. The '54 Indians were swept.

Atlanta and New York did not meet in the '98 series. The damn Yankees faced the Friars.

The Angels crowd is rowdy and loud early tonight. It's actually kind of impressive for a lackluster West Coast team.

Not sure what happened? It's called a slick ball, TK. Control will be tough for both pitchers tonight.

Oh yeah, thanks for the Kevin Brown flashback.

So 6 of the 10 teams on that list won the WS.

As BMX stated - logs: https://www.chron.com/sports/astros/article/A-brief-history-of-the-train-at-Minute-Maid-Park-12787613.php

The 15-foot-high and 56-foot-long replica of an 1862 steam locomotive was manufactured in Porter, Minnesota. It was brought to Houston on March 13, 2000, to serve as an attraction for baseball fans and citizens. At first its cargo was logs but once Minute Maid bought the stadium's naming rights in June 2002 that switched to oranges.

I cannot believe the Angels have the audacity to swing at pitches knowing JV is looking for 3000 and 300. How dare they!
