Maybe the best fielding Astro SS ever, but I'm going with not definitely not top 50 - somewhere between 50-100.

SS is probably the 2nd weakest position in team history ahead of only C, but he's still far behind Correa & Thon and if he's ahead of Menke, Lugo & Tejada its only because of longevity. I'm probably forgetting some other old-school guys.

I also think if the front office hadn't jumped to conclusions and let the Lugo thing play out until he was vindicated, our playoff results might have looked a little different in the mid and late 2000s while Everett struggled to hit .200 in the postseason & hit .067 in the '05 WS & Lugo was the starting shortstop and hit .385 in the WS for the world champ 2007 Red Sox.

He would have had to hit the dirt on that pitch if that location is accurate. I never saw a replay of the pitch

Based on what AJ said, the real issue wasn't the pitch. It was the unprofessional behavior that followed.

Good time at the Disney park today. Teheran was painting the inside corner early and gave the guys fits. Altuve had some good swings, and Valdez was effective.

Ballpark was so-so. This is the last week for the Braves as they move next year.

Is their still not a video of the so called strike?

Could the next CBA have some additional language about the way umpires are rated or a specific level of competency? Maybe specific lanuage that says Angel Hernandez is not allowed to actually work a real game in MLB? Maybe they could allow a video review of the strike/ball call?

I mean come on, this guy is terrible and could be costing guys money due to the missed calls.
