Why is he still pitching for us? Bring up YoMen pr Jurado to make his starts. This is just stupid

Meh it was the right call even if it was delayed. How about the pitcher do what you're supposed to do since 7 year old kid pitch
You've posted on MLB... Rangers threads twice in the past 2 seasons. This one and a post in Sept 2017,ryanhnc10 said:

Odor with another terrible defensive play that bites the Rangers in the ass. Rough year for him, but he's not playing with his head in the game a lot either.
Clear balk, but how do you miss it. I don't get how they have a talk, and decide they missed it. If one of the umps saw it, they would have called it when it happened._lefraud_ said:
It's not that they just missed it live, they had a pitch, check swing, AND an appeal down to first BEFORE anything was mentioned about a balk.
That would be like a guy making a layup, and the other team inbounds the ball, coach is griping, and officials stop play, and say, you're right, it was a travel, no basket.

Thanks for keeping tabs on me! I also only have a few posts on the Dallas Stars thread just to save you a bit of time
Moore is owed $10M for 2019, $750K buyout.Huell Babineaux said:

More a commentary on Astros fans. I hadn't seen you post on here, so I was curious. With the recent pot-stirring on Odor, I found it funny your only other post was about Odor, of all people.

Moore is going to get starts because he's a lottery ticket and it doesn't hurt to continue to scratch it in a lost season.
You make good points. I think a lot of fans might just be venting there frustrations.free_mhayden said:
I'd consider myself one of the bigger Ranger fans on this forum and it still surprises me a bit how many of you guys are still getting worked up about some of these performances and losses. If it wasn't evident what route the front office was taking with this team in the off-season, it should have been very clear on Opening Day... and then after the first month... It's middle of June -- it seems silly to be getting constantly upset that a team that was likely going to be bad is... bad.
Odor is going to keep getting at-bats because we have a lot invested in him and it's a lost season.

I will understand the complaints if we're sitting in the same spot this time next season... but we were competitive for the better part of a decade and that's with a couple of really bad contracts (Choo) and a disaster trade/contract (Fielder). A couple of seasons to regain footing isn't that big a deal -- and I'd rather have it happen in a season or two when the division competition is stacked.
This. We bought a handful of lotto tickets this offseason and the only one that actually hit was Bartolo. It's a tank season now and the sooner you accept it as that the easier it is to still enjoy following the team.free_mhayden said:

It's tough because Moore has been useless so far and odor has been one of the toughest players to watch in baseball the last 2 years.

Odor put up 30 HRs last year, and aside from a low batting average, was very productive.
Look, Odor is still very young and the HR #s show he has a lot of potential, but he was not even close to productive last year. Even with those 30 HR he posted a wRC+ of 61 and a WAR of -1.0. He was BAD. If we weren't on track to lose 100 games then the people calling for him to go find his swing in AAA would be absolutely right. At this point though, we might as well keep him in the bigs to figure it out. He's too young with too much money invested in him to just write him off when we aren't competing for a playoff spot anyways.DallasAg 94 said:Don't you have an Astros thread to post on?Grapesoda2525 said:
