But there's an off-day on Thursday, so the pen will be able to get some rest.

So why are we trotting Perez back out there when he's looked like dog**** for 3 innings? I mean, we're not likely to comeback from 5 runs down, but we'll probably load the bases 4 more times this game so at least we'll have a chance.

This is about to be a 8-1 game.

At this point it's obvious that he's being told to do that. I wouldn't necessarily blame Gallo.

I don't blame Gallo at all. Low IQ players need to be taught. Bannister is the wrong kind of manager to do that -- he's the kind of manager that's just gonna let everyone swing from their heels and try constantly have his team be "1 big hit away" from winning en-route to a 90 loss season.

That is why anyone who thinks this is a 1 or 2 year rebuild is fooling themselves.

The veteran nucleus of the team... those with any baseball IQ... are gone after this season. Beltre, Andrus & Hamels.

Your young core - Odor, Mazara and Gallo are just not demonstrating that they really understand the game.

Next year you add Calhoun is self-descried as a DH. He is currently a buck-eighty (.180) with 8 SO in 5 GP. 0 HRs.

We traded Nicholas, so Rupp is really our only future Catcher.

I've been saying for while that Nolan was the only reason the Rangers did as well as they did for those years. Look what he has done at Houston. It is my understanding he is not easy to work with but I think the wins were worth it. I'm about done with this team just two weeks into the season. I'll continue to watch, I've watched for almost 40 years, but I have very little hope for the coming years.
