Cole,

Thank you so much for turning your trade down to Houston.

He's just motivating the team to bust out the bats tonight. True veteran leadership imo.

I didn't know it was possible to be more Chris Carter-ish than Chris Carter. That's impressive.

I couldn't stand Chris Carter, but he was actually good at drawing walks. Odor is basically good at nothing. And locked into a $50 mil contract...
And yet he's OPS'd .888 against the Astros for his career. He's basically good at beating yalls ass.

He really tries his best to impress Daddy in yalls World Series.

We're too busy having the best record in the league, adding an ace for a run at the actual World Series.

*adding an overpaid, past his prime middle of the staff guy to a totally busted rotation in a last ditch effort to make it out of the ALDS.

More importantly though, I think we can all rejoice in texas getting ****housed at home by a bad B1G team today.
Past his prime went 6 IP, gave up one run, and picked up win #11.
And he was outpitched by some no-name rookie.
Who got the W?

I actually have 6 links, and was getting super pissed the more info I looked up...So, look it up yourself, I am not going to fight about something I know to be true, to a person who would just as soon see me in prison or dead.

September is when the Rangers start focusing on Moral victories after being all but mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Considering Houston's last 2 Septembers, that's pretty rich coming from an Astros fan.

Also, 2 games back with about 4 weeks left is mathematically eliminated?

Might as well be when you can't sustain a winning record and drop games to the likes of the Atlanta Braves.

But also, nice reading comprehension. "All but mathematical eliminated" =/= mathematically eliminated

Remind me again who has won the AL West the last two years? September has usually been the month where the Astros go home crying after yet another late season collapse.

I just never understood why fans were so livid about it, outside it being a way to release all the stress and emotion from Harvey. Your city is underwater, and you're apoplectic about baseball scheduling. Not to mention that there was already established precedent to not swap series.

To be fair, CIti Field is like a whole 7-8 miles away from Yankee Stadim. I mean, you even have to cross the East River to get from one to the other.

Odd comment on a thread created explicitly for Rangers and Astros fans to engage, and regarding a subject that involves both teams.

Exactly. Given there's 95 pages of Rangers fans and Astros fans going back and forth on this thread, I don't think either side can claim the other is "obsessed". Sure the rivalry has been heavily one-sided, but that doesn't mean we don't care. It's a rivalry...both sides care.
