Same. Got the stuff I order the night we won ALCS game 7 on Game 7 of the WS. Expect 2 weeks for anything that says shipping in 2-3 days.

I sort of get this sentiment, but I also see the reporters' side of this in that the Astros probably won't have another media availability any time soon. So they basically have to ask, even if they also probably don't want to ruin the mood of the day by asking.astros4545 said:

I do, however, think I would go even if I had an issue with the current administration. Just, hypothetically, let's say that Carlos Beltran has an issue with how Trump has handled Puerto Rico, he could set up interviews and release a statement the day the team visits the White House and I think it would provide a much bigger platform than simply not going.

If reporters would stick to that, and just always ask what they think people want to know, I wouldn't complain. I don't believe it was appropriate for the reporter to ask the question at this point in time. After the parade and celebration is over -- fine. AJ kicked the can down the street, and that was an appropriate response.
As far as the reporter generating news, it's not generating news. It would be an enterprise story. Reporters do that all the time. Reporters need to ask the questions people are thinking and sometimes that gets a story. Journalism isn't just reporting what happens -- it's finding what people are concerned about and getting them answers.
I'll get off my soapbox now. I didn't want to derail the thread.
