You missed it??
I just wanted to apologize for bleeding all over the thread for a few posts during the game
Correa drove in Bregman in the 8th. 2-3.
Marwin hit a HR in 9th off their closer to tie it. 3-3
I posted Kate's bare tits for 30 seconds.
Tuve and Correa went back to back in the 10th. Correa stood, watched it and did a bat launch. 5-3.
An idiot jumped into our bullpen.
Puig homered off Giles and laid his bat down on the plate. Giles then gave up the tying run and got pulled. 5-5
Devo threw a wild pickoff to 2B and hit the ump damn near in the junk.
Dodgers use their last bull pen arm.
Maybin singled and stole 2B in 11th.
Springer dinger! 7-5.
Bottom of 11 a dude with 2 hits all year hits a bomb. 7-6.
Whiff Puig to end game 7-6
Rest of free world joins you in going to bed. Most of free world cannot go to sleep and lay there for hours.

I think Roberts over-managing that game may be the biggest key in the Astros winning the series.
Same here. I remember listening to Elston and Loel every day and getting mad. lol. We weren't very good. My first Astro game I witnessed in person was against the Giants in the Astrodome. I saw Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Juan Marichal, Alou brothers, Joe Morgan, etc. I have a baseball signed by the original Colt 45's. I just want to be able to see the Astros win the World Series and my Aggies win a Natty before my time is up.CT75 said:
Was a 9 year old kid just starting Little League when Houston got the franchise in 1962. Followed the team religiously over the early years. Clung to the radio at night listening to Gene Elston and Loel Passe. I had gotten to the point that I never thought we'd attone for the 1980 loss to the Phillies, the '86 loss to the Mets and several bullpen meltdowns of recent note. Despite living in different parts of the country.....they have always been my team.
Great job guys....I feel like the monkey is off their backs.

Jealous of all you guys that get to go. I'll be watching from north Texas as usual. Wife told me I could drive down on Saturday and go. Then I showed her the ticket prices on Stubhub.
Screw once in a lifetime, how in the hell did you not just play ignorant and run with it? If she got pissed at the ticket prices, just tell her "you said I could go." You must be new to marriage.irish pete ag06 said:iBrad said:

I turned it off after the HR as well, but found myself turning it back on a minute or so later. I figured that I've survived watching several Aggie meltdowns, so I could stomach an Astros one as well.TheFeelOfCotton383 said:
I have to admit, I was a bad fan last night and turned it off and went to bed after LA went up 3-1. Having 11 month old twins and coaching wore me out.
Luckily I woke up right as the 10th started thanks to one of the babies waking up and was able to finish the game. I'll never stop watching again. I learned my lesson.

I'm always curious what the other team's fans are thinking. I only get to see the good/bad/ugly on my side.
Thinking about this game and how we beat them...I think they are scared ****less as we head to Houston!
Their bullpen got to not be feeling good about facing our bats now....Frok said:jr15aggie said:

Nah, Dodgers got to be feeling good about facing our bullpen. I think this is going to be a dogfight the rest of the way.
