Don't understand throwing Trout anything over the plate in that situation, let alone a fastball in his wheel house. Take your chances with a hitter who hits into a ton of double plays (Pujols).

He's 2-2 with a 2 run shot. GTFO with this ****
And committed his 7th error in the last 13 games. No business playing 2nd base for a division leader if you can't field a ground ball. We can find .250 with an occasional homer from someone else until he figures out how to get his **** together defensively
.250 with an occasional homer?
Lmao. Try .270 and leads the team in homers. Chicken little.
quote:My wife said it's like thay can't handle success...in a game or in a season. They seem to look at the score, or the standings, and say "oh crap!!" and then regress to the mean.
Bad walks, bad defense, bad base running, bad approaches at the plate, bad management, this team is just bad right now. Hard to believe they still have the most wins in the AL. Banister, the leaders in the clubhouse, someone needs to slap some sense into this team.

Lohse, that have won one.

The current Rangers...

Lohse, that have won one.
Kyle Lohse was chased after 3 innings in game 3, the same game Pujols went off. Lohse was scheduled to pitch game 7, but thanks to the rained out game, it allowed La Russa to comeback with Carpenter who shut us down. Wash had the opportunity to save the hot hand of Holland for game 7, but elected to go with "his guy" Matt Harrison. The choice was one of many baffling decisions by the Ranger manager. The rest is history and now my blood pressure has shot up about 10 notches just thinking about 2011

Don't we have just 4 series left with the Astros?
Go 12-0 and we have nothing to worry about
quote:I did NOT say sit Rougned Odor. So, lets get that one straight.
I'll agree that his defense has gotten worse lately....along with the entire teams. Profar's 2b fielding percentage, albeit small, is right in line with Odors. You wanna call Odor out for poor defense but then forget about all the ridiculous defensive plays he has made this season and forget that he has helped turn a league leading amount of double plays. If
You wanna sit Odor for recent poor defense, then you better sit Beltre as well....if you wanna be fair.
This team is in a funk, that's just baseball. The last thing we need Banister doing is knee jerk reacting to a few poorly played games. These guys are major leaguers, not high schoolers. The best way for them to get back on track is to play.
